Welcome to The Farmers'
Table

Pull up a chair — you’re in good company.

Here at The Farmers’ Table, we believe good food should be hearty, homemade, and shared with the people who matter most. Whether you're feeding a harvest crew, chasing kids between chores, or just trying to get supper on the table with what you've got in the fridge — we're here for it.

We share real recipes for real life — no fluff, no fuss — just meals that taste like home and hold up in the field.

About

My name is Christine Doenz

I’m a passionate first-time author with a deep love for home cooking and a strong commitment to community. Growing up on a farm in Saskatchewan, I was surrounded by generations of resilient women who taught me the joys, traditions, and values of rural life.

After moving to southern Alberta to pursue my nursing career, I eventually settled with my husband on a farm in Warner, Alberta. I’ve always carried my dedication to caregiving into every part of my life, alongside a lifelong passion for volunteering and supporting the vitality of rural communities. Through my writing, I share stories, recipes, and reflections that celebrate the richness of farm life and the strength found in simplicity.

Rooted in The Community

At The Farmers’ Table, our commitment goes far beyond the kitchen. We’re proud to be deeply involved in the causes that matter most to our neighbours—from fundraising through the Bringing Hearts Home campaign, which supports the creation of a specialized cardiac care unit in Lethbridge, to volunteering our time, sponsoring initiatives across the Tri-Community area, and supporting the Community Ag Project in Warner. For us, “rooted in the community” means rolling up our sleeves, giving back, and helping our region grow stronger—together.
